James Pickens Jr.

Executive Producer, Actor: Albert

James Pickens Jr. is a distinguished actor of stage, television, and film. His credits include The X-Files, The Practice, Roseanne, and he currently stars as Dr. Richard Webber on Grey’s Anatomy. Pickens also appeared in Michael Tucker’s A Tailor Near Me, opposite Richard Kind, directed by James Glossman. It was this production that planted the seed for Albert’s Flower, the first project from Pickens’ production company, Bay Springs Productions.

Éilis Cahill

Actor: Greta

Eilis Cahill is an actor whose film credits include Mind-Set (Best Picture, Midlands Movie Awards; Best Feature, Manchester International Film Festival), Stake Land (dir. Jim Mickle), Mad (Jury Prize, Victoria TX Independent Film Festival), Mouthful (Best Short Film, Boston Underground Film Festival), and Oi, Meu Amor.

She played four roles in The Road to Jerusalem at Shadowland last fall and starred as Eleanor in Make Believe at New Jersey Repertory Company this past winter. She originated the role of Carmen in Safe Home, a play co-written by Tom Hanks.

James Glossman

Director, Producer

James Glossman makes his film directorial debut with Albert’s Flower. Glossman comes from an acclaimed theatre career that includes world premieres featuring James Pickens Jr., Richard Kind, Dan Lauria, and Jay O. Sanders, as well as co-writing and directing the world premiere of Safe Home. He also co-wrote The World of Tomorrow with Tom Hanks, which will premiere in New York City in fall 2025.

Albert’s Flower originated as a stage play written by a close friend of Glossman. From the first read, he was immediately captivated.

Edward Rosini

Director of Photography

Edward Rosini is an LA-based, NY-raised actor and writer who has also worked as a director, director of photography, and producer on several projects and web series. His work has been featured on Netflix and PBS, and he is also a professional D&D gamer.

Albert’s Flower is a slice of home for Ed—shot on a street he practically grew up on in his hometown. He is deeply grateful for the experience as a whole, and for the final product as a lasting reminder of that gratitude.

Christopher Wright

Executive Producer

Christopher Wright has built his career on passionate advocacy, forging strong partnerships with his clients in pursuit of their professional, artistic, and business goals. He is the founder, owner, and president of Wright Entertainment, Inc.

Chris has represented James Pickens Jr. since 1985 and is proud to collaborate with his production company, Bay Springs Productions, Inc., as Jim’s producing partner. Together, they are dedicated to telling stories they believe need to be told—with passion, sensitivity, and love.

Erinnisse Rebisz

Editor, Line Producer

Erinnisse Rebisz is a seasoned producer and editor with over 15 years of experience in film and digital media production. She has crafted compelling content for major networks, including HBO, PBS, TLC, Food Network, Travel Channel, Magnolia, History Channel, and Ovation.

In addition, she has produced commercials, vlogs, sizzles, web series, and PSAs for brands such as Microsoft, Patrón Tequila, BIC, ADP, P&G, NYCDOT, AMNH, Novo Nordisk, and Ozempic. In 2015, she released the feature documentary Shoulder the Lion, co-created with her husband, a FIPRESCI honor recipient—a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit.

Born in New York City to a playwright and a singer-songwriter, she is now a mother of two boys living in the Hudson Valley with her inspiring and talented husband.

Justine F. Chen

Composer

Composer Justine F. Chen is a critically acclaimed Taiwanese American New Yorker, teacher, mother, and creator of operas and theatrical works, including the opera The Life and Death(s) of Alan Turing and the oratorio Shallow Breath and Stealth.

She extends heartfelt thanks to her dearest mentor and champion, Jim Glossman, for bringing her into this deeply meaningful project—a tender acknowledgment of children, their personhood, and their scars, modeling the care required for our most vulnerable and precious.

John Pietrowski

Writer – Stage Playwright of “Albert’s Flower”

John Pietrowski served as Artistic Director of Writers Theatre of New Jersey from 1991 to 2019, a company he helped found in 1986. During his tenure, he directed more than 30 world premieres.

As an actor, he has most recently worked at Vivid Stage, Writers Theatre, NJ Rep, Shadowland Stages, and InterAct Theatre in Philadelphia. He received New Jersey State Council on the Arts Playwriting Fellowships in 2012 and 2018.

He currently teaches at Union County College.

Gavyn Pickens

Associate Producer

Gavyn Pickens is an actress and emerging producer with more than 10 years of experience both in front of and behind the camera. On screen, she has appeared in ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black.

Behind the scenes, Gavyn has gained production experience on acclaimed reality series such as Top Chef and the new short film Albert’s Flower. She looks forward to continuing her work in television and film and to producing more meaningful projects with Bay Springs Productions, Inc.
